London-based Zoomo expands fleet with Urban Arrow E-Cargo bikes, paves the way for greener urban deliveries

Urban logistics customers are increasingly embracing e-cargo bikes as a more sustainable and efficient solution for their fleet needs. These bikes have proven to be 60% faster than vans in city centers, offering a more efficient option for last-mile delivery. Furthermore, the adoption of e-cargo bikes has the potential to replace up to 17% of van kilometers by 2030 in major global cities, leading to significant reductions in CO2 emissions.

In line with this trend, Zoomo, a renowned provider of last-mile electric fleet solutions, has announced a partnership with Urban Arrow, a leading producer of medium-sized cargo bikes worldwide. This collaboration aims to enrich the hardware options available on the Zoomo platform.

By combining Urban Arrow’s top-notch hardware with Zoomo’s extensive global sales, maintenance, software, and financing capabilities, customers in the urban logistics industry will have access to a wider range of sustainable and efficient fleet subscription solutions.

Michael Johnson, Co-Founder and CRO of Zoomo, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Partnering with Urban Arrow is a significant achievement for Zoomo and our urban logistics customers. Incorporating Urban Arrow’s cutting-edge hardware into our platform allows us to offer even more sustainable and efficient fleet solutions while expanding our servicing capabilities. With Urban Arrow’s global presence, we have a tremendous opportunity to grow our business while assisting our customers in expanding their fleets and minimizing their environmental footprint.”

This collaboration exemplifies the shared commitment of Zoomo and Urban Arrow to facilitate the logistics industry’s transition towards greener, more cost-effective, and efficient transportation solutions.

Through this partnership, Zoomo will be able to meet the evolving demands of the growing urban logistics delivery sector by offering customers a diverse range of vehicle types, including Urban Arrow e-cargo bikes such as the Cargo L and XL Cargo Line Rohloff. Urban Arrow’s e-cargo bikes will seamlessly integrate into the Zoomo platform, complementing its fleet management software, servicing, and flexible finance options as part of a comprehensive vehicle-as-a-service package.

Jorrit Kreek, Co-Founder of Urban Arrow, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “At Urban Arrow, we are delighted to partner with Zoomo. As Zoomo holds the position of being the world’s leading platform for commercial micromobility fleets, we are proud to see our Urban Arrow electric cargo bikes being utilized by industry-leading companies.”

Likewise, the partnership offers Urban Arrow the opportunity to access new markets, expanding its user base through Zoomo’s subscription packages. Furthermore, Urban Arrow’s existing and future customers will gain access to Zoomo’s dedicated servicing network, software platform, and finance offerings, enhancing their overall experience.
