Grubhub Relaunches its Loyalty Subscription Program, Grubhub+

Grubhub, a prominent player in the food technology industry, is raising the stakes with the relaunch of its Grubhub+ loyalty subscription program. This revamped initiative promises subscribers an array of savings, rewards, and exclusive dining experiences, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing exceptional value to its patrons.

The renewed Grubhub+ program centers on offering members unlimited $0 delivery fees on eligible restaurant and convenience orders exceeding $12. However, the enhancements don’t stop there. New benefits unveiled for subscribers encompass reduced service fees and a 5 percent credit back on pickup orders, ensuring a more comprehensive and appealing package.

According to Launika Raykar, Vice President of Loyalty, Customer Engagement, and Partnerships at Grubhub, these improvements were crafted based on invaluable feedback from diners who sought amplified value, recognition, and a heightened level of service from subscription programs. Raykar highlighted the company’s dedication to addressing diner preferences and needs across all aspects of its business, integrating the most favorable elements from the original Grubhub+ and previous pilot programs to create substantial value and tangible savings for members.

In the coming months, Grubhub+ members can anticipate a fresh wave of perks designed to elevate their dining experiences. These upcoming additions include milestone rewards, month-long member savings, and enticing offers such as the Fuel Rewards program at Shell. This novel collaboration translates into Gold Status in the Fuel Rewards program, enabling members to enjoy a 5-cent per gallon discount on every fuel fill-up by signing up or linking their Fuel Rewards account.

Grubhub+ has garnered a devoted and growing base of diners who exhibit distinct behavioral patterns. These members exhibit higher order frequency and retention rates compared to non-members. Their robust engagement extends beyond restaurant meals, encompassing a broader spectrum of convenience items. This active participation not only enriches the dining experience for subscribers but also fuels the broader Grubhub marketplace. Merchants benefit from increased orders, while delivery partners seize more earning opportunities.

Beyond its own offerings, Grubhub collaborates with esteemed brands like Amazon Prime, Bank of America, and Lyft to deliver additional value through their existing membership programs. This strategic alignment aims to empower customers with an enriched experience and an array of benefits.

As Grubhub+ unveils its enhanced features, the food technology giant continues to shape the landscape of convenient dining and delivery, amplifying customer satisfaction and loyalty in the process.
