Foodpanda merchants to be offered loan

SB Finance Inc. announced it has inked a deal with Delivery Hero Philippines Inc.

SB Finance Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with Delivery Hero Philippines Inc. (formerly Foodpanda Philippines Inc.) to introduce personal loan services to over 15,000 partner merchants affiliated with the foodpanda brand.

In accordance with SB Finance, the loan amounts available will range from P30,000 to P2 million.

Recognizing the vital role played by last-mile services like foodpanda in supporting the growth and reach of micro-scale, small-sized, and medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs), Michael Albert R. Rallonza, Head of Sales and Distribution for Consumer Finance at SB Finance, emphasized the significance of this collaboration. He stated in a press release, “It was only logical for SB Finance to augment the value proposition by offering accessible and affordable credit access to foodpanda’s partner merchants, thereby fostering a positive cycle for the entire ecosystem.”
