Airasia Superapp, soon to be renamed airasia MOVE, is expanding its collaboration with foodpanda, a leading food and grocery delivery platform in the region. This partnership aims to offer users an integrated travel and dining experience.
As airasia Superapp evolves into a comprehensive travel platform, providing services like flights, hotels, ride-hailing, duty-free shopping, and dining experiences, the partnership with foodpanda Thailand enhances both platforms’ capabilities.
Under this collaboration, airasia Superapp users gain access to foodpanda’s extensive food delivery services, featuring a diverse range of menus from restaurant partners across Thailand. This means users can conveniently order their favorite dishes from anywhere.
Additionally, foodpanda customers will have access to airasia ride’s budget-friendly and reliable ride-hailing service, making travel more seamless. Users of both services will also be able to earn airasia points, which can be used for various purposes, including airfare, hotel bookings, and exclusive deals via airasia Superapp.
Ben-Jie Lim, Head of Partnerships & Global Markets at airasia Superapp, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, highlighting how it caters to diverse needs and enhances convenience. He mentioned that foodpanda users can directly access ride-hailing services within the app, making travel in Bangkok more efficient and cost-effective. Users can also earn airasia points for every 15 baht spent on airasia ride services through the foodpanda app.
Siripa Jungsawat, CEO of foodpanda Thailand, emphasized the partnership’s goal to provide a complete and seamless service experience to both companies’ existing customers and expand to a new customer base. This collaboration aims to create a comprehensive and sustainable business ecosystem.
To celebrate the partnership, customers of both airasia Superapp and foodpanda can enjoy special promotional offers for ride-hailing and food delivery from both platforms. New foodpanda customers ordering through airasia Superapp can get a 30% discount (up to 80 baht) on orders over 150 baht using specific codes. Similarly, foodpanda customers can receive a 40 baht discount on airasia rides with a minimum fare of 150 baht by applying a specific code.
This partnership follows airasia Superapp’s collaboration with foodpanda Malaysia earlier this year and reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing user experiences through strategic partnerships.
